At Revolution Psychology, we provide quality mental health care through a person-centred, genuine and evidence-based approach. With particular interest and experience in trauma and eating disorders, alongside personalised therapy, our team brings extensive experience from public mental health, military settings, and private practice. Our focus is on more than symptom management — we work with you toward deeper, meaningful change.

Every person's journey is unique, so we tailor therapy to your needs, helping you feel seen, understood, and supported with practical strategies to draw on. Whether you're navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, or seeking clarity and personal growth, we combine experience and warmth to support you on the path forward.

Our areas of focus

While we support people through many of life's challenges, trauma is at the heart of what we do. Cassie and Clint have particular experience working with the lasting effects of difficult experiences — whether that's a single event, or the kind of trauma that builds quietly over years. We understand that trauma doesn't always look like trauma. Sometimes it looks like always being on edge, struggling to trust, or feeling disconnected from yourself. And we know that getting through something isn't the same as getting over it.

Cassie also holds a particular interest in eating disorders and disordered eating. This is sensitive, often misunderstood territory, and it deserves care that's both experienced and genuinely compassionate — a space where you can talk honestly, without judgement, about your relationship with food, your body, and yourself.

Whatever brings you here, our approach is the same: person-centred, evidence-based, and human. You're not a diagnosis to us. You're a person we'd like to understand.

Cassie Garling

Director and Principal Clinical Psychologist

A friendly and down-to-earth Clinical Psychologist, Cassie creates a therapy space where you feel safe, seen and understood. Her gentle and authentic approach fosters trust, making therapy feel more like a conversation rather than a clinical process. With a genuine commitment to your healing, she meets you where you are, helping you navigate challenges with patience, compassion, and evidence-based care. With 15 years of experience, Cassie has helped many individuals navigate the complexities of most psychological concerns and life’s challenges. However, she has particular interests in helping people with trauma, eating disorders and helping people to build healthier relationships with themselves.

Cassie’s approach is holistic, intuitive and tailored to your unique needs. Grounded in a person-centred approach, she integrates Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM) for eating disorders, psychodynamic therapy, ego state therapy and Breathwork to help you better understand how your difficulties developed over time and what is keeping you stuck. Cassie also works within these modalities to provide you with the tools and strategies to help you regulate your nervous system, develop more adaptive thinking and behaviour patterns and the confidence to handle what life may throw your way. Her therapy is not just about symptom relief—it’s about helping you reconnect with yourself, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

With the rise in ADHD awareness, Cassie understands the frustration of having difficulty focusing and remembering, procrastination, emotional overwhelm and dysregulation, and relationship struggles. As ADHD and the effects of trauma often appear to look the same, she offers trauma-informed adult ADHD practical strategies to help you feel more in control.

Cassie is currently accepting referrals for clients 12 years and older. Book a free 15-minute consultation to discuss how she can support your healing journey.

Clint Marlborough

Director and Principal Senior Psychologist

If you’re carrying the weight of trauma, feeling stuck in patterns of anxiety or low mood, or struggling under ongoing stress, you don’t have to face it alone. Clint offers a calm, compassionate space where you can slow things down, feel genuinely heard, and begin to make sense of what you’re experiencing—at a pace that feels right for you.

With over 25 years’ experience as a Senior Psychologist, Clint has worked alongside people from many walks of life across the Australian Defence Force, private practice, public and community services, and hospital-based mental health settings. While his particular clinical interest is in complex and developmental trauma, he also works with depression, anxiety, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, and the psychological impact of high-pressure or life-altering experiences.

Clint’s therapeutic work is informed by Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy, within the Conversational Model. This means therapy is both practical and deeply relational—helping you understand how past experiences may still be shaping the present, while also developing strategies to manage distress and build resilience in your day-to-day life. Above all, Clint values the therapeutic relationship itself, believing that change happens through feeling safe, understood, and connected.

He has extensive experience working with people in high-pressure environments, including current and former members of the Australian Defence Force, as well as individuals experiencing acute suicidal distress. Clint understands the unique challenges that can come with service, responsibility, and identity, and works with sensitivity, respect, and care.

In addition to his clinical work, Clint has supported psychological wellbeing in demanding settings as a production psychologist on programs such as Survivor, SAS Australia, and The Summit. These experiences have further shaped his understanding of resilience, stress, and human connection under pressure.

Clint is in the final stages of submitting his PhD thesis, which explores Communicative Musicality within the Conversational Model, with the aim of deepening and advancing the treatment of psychological trauma.

He is currently accepting referrals and has immediate availability.
